I mentioned in the intro blog that I want to be your on-line Life coach. I want to help you get out of average living into Xtreme Living. What is Life Coaching all about and do I need a Life Coach? Well glad you asked that question here is an answer that will help you.

What Is Life Coaching?

Life Coaching is a profession that is profoundly different from consulting, mentoring, advice, therapy, or counseling. The coaching process addresses specific personal projects, business successes, general conditions and transitions in the client's personal life, relationships or profession by examining what is going on right now, discovering what your obstacles or challenges might be, and choosing a course of action to make your life be what you want it to be.

Wow that must be awesome to have a life coach. For many of you your pastor is your life coach anointed b God to help you through life so it would do you good to go to your pastor and say can you please coach me to my next level. From a soccer perspective look at Sir Alex Ferguson who has coached Manchester United for over 20 years and has led them into many victories, championships and trophies. He is a legend when it comes to greatness in the sporting world. Like him hate him the coach of your favorite team probably has high respect for him, in fact he was probably coached by Ferguson in his sporting days.

But the question is why a coach before we can say why a life coach?

Why a coach?

A coach studies the sport so that he is an expert at winning

A coach ensure that you are in the best possible shape to achieve the desired victory

A coach ensures you have the necessary training and skills to make you win

A coach studies your opponents so that you have the 411 when you get on the field to play

A coach puts together a winning strategy that if followed will get awesome results

A coach puts together the necessary team and ensures that the bench is strong

A coach knows your strengths and weaknesses and knows how to best put them to use

A coach knows when you need a time out

A coach ensures that the team maintains a winning paradigm

A coach knows how to balance the training program so that you get the best out of it

A coach keeps the players engaged and interested in the core issues

Pep Guardiola is rated as one of the best coaches in the world because Barcelona has risen to be the best team ever. What makes this interesting is the fact that Guardiola managed to bring in some of the best players in the world and make a great team. The great team became great because the coach was able to bring out the best out of the best in the world. It is possible to have the best and not bring out the best out of them. A good coach will bring the best out of you. I discovered that having a life coach could transform your life and bring the best out of you. My coach was m senior pastor; who I would spend time with when he visited South Africa and we would have what we called our “Mugg and Bean” Moments where we would sit and eat as he shared wisdom about life and ministry. These moments brought the best out of me and helped me become the champion that I am. I was coached by the best.

So having a Life Coach will allow you to be the best that you can be. A coach will push you beyond the limits of average performance into greatness. If you had a life coach he would check if you had a winning strategy, he would study your opponents for you and tell you their weaknesses and strengths and you will be better equipped to win. Sorry got carried away with my explanation there it was supposed to be brief but I found it necessary to make this clear so you can see the need for personal coaching in your life.
