Achieving big dreams

Have you checked lately...
Don't stop moving...
I coach a significant number of people every year and I have observed that there is no shortage of big dreams. Most people I meet really do have big goals and they dream of doing something that will be significant in changing the lives of people. However on the other hand not many people are accomplishing their dreams or are anywhere near starting the journey to doing great things. Now this is strange because it means a lot of dreams are dying unfulfilled. I want to share with you the starting point of birthing something significant. This is assuming you have visualized the dream and written something down and possibly articulated it to someone else.

Once you have a vision or a picture of a desired reality then you can take these two steps that will help you get closer to making the vision a reality. These steps are by no means anywhere near thorough but these are just the beginning.

The director has already said "Action"
Number one; Take action. Wow that sounds so simple it can almost be neglected. Think of it this way all people that have accomplished something took action, they began to move and do something. Well did you know that one of the greatest hindrances to achievement is procrastination? The inability to act or move, many people procrastinate until they settle for doing nothing. Ask yourself the question “what step can I take today to further my vision?” even if the step is small. What you want is momentum regardless of how small, when you learn to be in motion then the forces of momentum can get some things working for you. Little steps make a big difference if taken consistently. If someone had taught me this years ago I would have accomplished more. I expected the success lottery to get this moving for me.

Number two; The second thing I want to throw at you is energy. Keep yourself energized by listening to goo material and being around high energy people that are doing something and going somewhere. One of the main causes of procrastination is lack of energy to break the inertia barrier. You need an energized mind that is on the move to get things done. Its amazing how many people I find that are on coasting mode, no energy no motivation they are low energy people that are hoping someone will come jerk them out of watching television or playing games. A little sleep a little slumber a little folding of hands and poverty comes to camp at your doorstep. Get some good books, good friends or a coach so you can stay on your toes moving with high energy.

Well assess yourself on a scale of 1-10 1 being low and 10 being high and see what you action score is and what your energy levels are. Take action develop some discipline and lets do great things out there

Remember even you can succeed
