Planning for success

“This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.” Joshua 1:8 KJV

God gave us a simple formula for success that is followed anyone can succeed in life. Most people I meet desire to succeed in life and are pursuing success in many different ways. Some are ill informed and others are well equipped on knowing both what success looks like and secondly how it can be achieved. The first step I advise you to stop is the definitions corner. Begin by defining what success looks like to you.
This obviously means having a clear vision or picture of a desired reality. The clear picture gives motivation and focus of the resources that one has in hand. The scripture above encourages you to meditate in the Word of God so that you can have good success. That means having success that does not destroy you or compromise your values. Take time everyday to read and meditate on the word of God as this gives you a clean slate on which to paint. It rewires your brain and mind to see success as the only alternative and then helps you to chart the part that you will then navigate to achieve the desired success.

Joshua had a daunting task ahead of him of taking the Israeli nation into a land that was filled with enemies. Needless to say you are going into a new season a new year a new territory and there will be some enemies that you will have to face. We'll be strong and courageous face then deal with them overcome them and walk into your new season and take territory. If Joshua could succeed by meditating in the Word so can you learn from him. Get yourself spiritually, mentally, emotionally, and physically ready for this new season.

Let the Word of God be the center of your success and it will be good success.
